The covid emergency strict regulations made it impossible for us to organise clean-ups outside our municipality. Still, it didn’t prevent us from organising small, local events with up to twenty volunteers. Taking all the necessary safety measures, wearing masks, gloves and keeping social distance, we managed to run several beach clean-up events along the coast of Quartu Sant’Elena and Cagliari.

On two ocasions, on the 14 and 28 March, a small group of volunteers cleaned parts of the Poetto beach in Quartu Sant’Elena. The result – let the images speak:
